Growing up in the Maya Mountains of Guatemala, exploring the Northern, Central and Southern American Continent, traveling half way around the world and back; I now find myself rooting deep on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Passionate about food solidarity, environmental and social issues, eco-fashion and living out my values. The Herbal Parable and Earth Bird Hawaii were brought forth in 2012 in a small, off-grid coffee shack in Kealakekua Bay.
The Herbal Parable’s seasonings and goods are grown with aloha in rhythm with the Hawaiian moon calendar, dried in our lava rock solar dryer, and hand mixed in small batches crafting the freshest, bestest, nutritious products around! Coffee is roasted under moonlight over an open-fire, sensation you can taste.
Earth Bird Hawaii is an eco friendly clothing and craft line. Each piece is 99% pre-loved, hand cut, and sewn individually with solar energy. Much attention and fun is infused in every creation. For the beauty of color and design, the uniqueness of you, no single piece is ever created exactly the same!
